Can I claim a domain that is a synonym or name related to the project? #9047

I have a project jQuery Terminal and in the future I plan to create a project Pure Terminal rewriting of the project in TypeScript without jQuery dependency.

I plan to rewrite the website and move it to GitHub pages.

Can I clam a name that is related to the project but not the same as project name?

terminal.js.org is taken so I was thinking about web-terminal.js.org

I can't really make a determination in advance of actually reviewing a PR that is requesting a specific subdomain, but generally speaking, yes, you can pick something that makes sense and is close to the project name.
