👋 Please split this request into two separate PRs, one for each js.org subdomain you intend to request.

I only want learnwithtyler.js.org.

MattIPv4 commented 2 months ago

Please revert the addition of the other subdomain then :)

Done.

No, you've just updated the target for the other request. The entry for worldofdevs.js.org is still being added in this PR.

That being said, please also be aware of our requirements for content being related to the JavaScript ecosystem -- portfolios and other personal pages aren't accepted.

What type of websites are actually hosted on js.org because I would only use a subdomain as such for a portfolio because it is free. I will rather use a TLD for other websites because it looks more professional and is a lot safer.

Understand what I mean?

What type of websites are actually hosted on js.org

Mostly JavaScript packages for use by developers in the JavaScript ecosystem/community.

because I would only use a subdomain as such for a portfolio because it is free

There are plenty of other services you can use, if your content does not meet the requirements for js.org: https://github.com/js-org/js.org/wiki/Similar-Services

I will rather use a TLD for other websites because it looks more professional and is a lot safer.

If you're looking for "professional", just pay for a .com (e.g. learnwithtyler.com) or similar.

@Chuyiyue We added a note that we won't accept portfolio pages with this commit: https://github.com/js-org/js.org/commit/cab250acc595795d268fbc371ee1421ba779ff1e (and in a modified form it is still present) And the example you mentioned is from a time before...

But there are a variety of similar services that may fit better.
