the contents of the GitHub page exist in a folder called CLOVER which exists in a folder called EFI which exists in the ESP partition of your hard drive/USB Installer. So do the following,

mount your ESP partition

open the partition and you'll see a folder called EFI

open the EFI folder and you should have a folder called BOOT (you may have other folders as well)

make sure you have a folder called CLOVER inside of the EFI folder, if not then create it.

Download the GitHub archive and unzip it, then drag all of the files in the archive and drop them in the CLOVER folder (if you have a CLOVER folder already then delete everything in it, back it up though in case, then drop all my files in that folder.

Also copy the CLOVERX64.efi file and paste it inside of the BOOT folder in the EFI folder that exists next to the CLOVER folder.

There should be a file in the BOOT folder named BOOTX64.efi... Rename that file too BOOTX64.efi.OLD and rename the CLOVERX64.efi file you copied from my archive to BOOTX64.efi. (Don't remove the CLOVERX64.efi file from the CLOVER folder)

Reboot and clover will load

Make sure you read up on this stuff before you mess around with anything, I provide this with the stipulation that you need to understand what's happening when you make changes to your system as it can result in the loss of data. Do this with a machine you don't need to use every day so you can understand how it works and then you can use it as your main system if need be.

That or at the very least install everything to a second drive and leave you main hdd alone. You can boot from the second drive using F12 at power on.
