The country Canada is missing from the validation, they are using SWIFT.
I dug a little deeper... the registry file at https://www.swift.com/standards/standards-resources also does not contain Canada as a country, which makes me wonder because I get Canadian Swift numbers from the finance department.
This can be closed... digging deeper, the finance department uses canadian national bank codes to payout canadians.
