Would love the option to add a user from the preferences pane by their channel URL or ID #8

Sometimes I want to block someone but I only have their channel page and don't remember when or where I saw their comment.

Is that the URL with @ in it? For example: https://www.youtube.com/@jeffersonscher

I think I could match those pages (I haven't tested whether @ can be used in the match pattern).

Could also use the channel ID (the one you get from clicking Share channel > Copy channel ID; yours is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-Nbp42LF7feEaNRH21s2Og).

Also, in the title I said "from the preference pane", but it occurs to me there's probably no reason not to just have a trashcan button and/or a right-click menu option, like on comments.

Version 0.9 adds a trash can button to the channel page. I really should allow clicking the button a second time to unblock the commenter, but... not tonight.

Awesome! Thanks!

This feature stopped working for me recently. The trash can doesn't appear on channel pages anymore. Maybe YouTube changed something again? Edit: And now it's working again. Weird.
