I have deployed an container in Azure, i am able to link the probe to my account , but the ping checks seem to fail, causing the probe to be disabled. Anybody else who has one running successfully?

It's a limitation of Azure but should be possible to change. Please see e.g. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1142252/icmp-outbound-on-azure-virtual-machines
