Bug: autonomous sync workflow not running #8

github action not being executed by the schedule trigger. It is not activating synchronization workflow to bring the changes from the upstream repo.

After doing some research

scheduled runs only trigger from the default branch (main). My GitHub Actions workflows are not starting

Despite it being stated that a schedule trigger should run from the default branch.
It did not run in the branch rolling (the default branch of this repo) .
The workflows were ported to a empty main branch were now the schedule trigger work.

with the worflows in the main branch the schedual trigger worked. however the worflow pointed to the rolling branch which also had a verison of the worflow. So the version executed was the one located in the rolling branch. the next step is to test if a new workflow that is not located in the branch rolling would run or there would be an issue.
