Hi, thanks for the write-up! I have an X1 gen9 as well and am wondering whether you experienced frequent kernel panics at all under Arch? I can't seem to get through one day without one at the moment. What settings did you change in the BIOS? Anything specific I should be aware of? Cheers!

I did not have kernel panics under Arch, nor have I seen any with Ubuntu on the other X1. Originally, I did not have any BIOS settings changed. Lenovo later introduced ACPI S3 suspend in a BIOS update for better Linux/BSD compatibility, so I updated to that version and enabled this setting. This was the only BIOS change I have made. On Linux, I've been using kernels 5.11 and 5.12 with no problems. Earlier kernels may be an issue from what I have heard, though I have not tested this personally.
