The web is more than a technology platform, it was created with a mission statement, and a clear philosophy of distributed control. One web, for everyone, from any device. Current design trends also come with a philosophy — and not always such a friendly one. There are assumptions and ideologies underlying every design decision we make. What does our software say about our beliefs? What do we even believe? Should we reconsider?
