Design Chat Translation Interactions

I feel it needs at least these features:

• Choose the locale you want it translated into (defaulting to your browser's locale)
• Ability to turn on/off translation
• Signalling that your messages are being translated
• Signalling that the message you're reading was translated
• Access to the original, unstranslated message
• When viewing a translated message, have a way to give quick feedback to say something seems to be failing in the translation (say it differently/use different words)

Clarification on last bullet point - the idea is to have a way to indicate in the UI that "that made no sense whatsoever". This would notify the message author and ask them to rewrite it with different words. (Aka not asking the engine to re-translate)
