"Timing mode 3" is Dendy/PAL Famiclone which is not currently emulated. These consoles were designed to play NTSC games at 50Hz by inserting an extra 50 scanlines into the post-render period in every frame, which artificially slows games down from 60 FPS to 50 FPS.
