UI needs a "delete account" and/or "purge action history" option #258

Goal

Adding a "delete account" option would allow users to remove their history and then re-sign-up. It would also make the app more GDPR compliant (not that this is a huge issue, but still... bonus).

History

Over the course of years, I was subscribed to multiple different blocking lists, tools, as well as my own vigorous blocks. I currently have (at least) 122 pages of "Actions" listed on my account.

Earlier this year I unsubscribed from lists and the blocks were never removed, even after attempting to manually unblock from inside the BT UI. I ended up writing a tool which purged my entire Twitter block list. The problem is that now I want to subscribe to a certain set of lists, but none of the actions are performed because BT sees unblock actions in the Action history.

The only way to get the list to work again would be by deleting my BT account, or by having the Action history purged, neither of which are an option provided in the UI.

I have attempted to reach out to BT by DM and email, but have never received a response to my queries.

Hi! Sorry you haven't head back about purging you unblock history. How long ago did you send it? Try sending again?

Block Together will automatically delete your account 30 days after you revoke permission in the Twitter settings dashboard. I do agree that this should be documented better, perhaps on the Settings page.
