[BUG] Problems with "not interested" on search pages #1488

I have both tag and highlight options on for owned, wishlist, and not interested. I have cleared the cached data. Owned & wishlist are being marked on search pages, but not interested isn't. I've even looked back at games that I marked not interested years ago, and they still don't get tagged or highlighted.

I'm having the same issue since Valve started mucking up the store presentation a few months back. Man. Its like every "improvement" they make kills a more useful ES functionality, and "Not interested" has been lost in the shuffle trying to keep up with their sabotage.

I've always relied upon the "Not Interested" tag for a dozen different things ASIDE from the one purpose they intend. It's exponentially more valuable (especially in combination with wishlist/followed) representing games I own on other platforms, keys I've got but not used, gifts I've sent myself; and so on based on whastever context.

It's a MAJOR pain since Steam already has so few ways to tag/track things across the whole site (and fewer that will show up on other sites like SteamDB too). Losing wishlist or any other highlights/tags would be less of a hindrance than the NI tag. It's easily the most versatile resource around with WL already sectioned off with well defined filters and categories.

First their Wishlist changes resulted in tags not show up there anymore at all---though at least SteamDB could still be used to show NI/WL for the ones on sale at least.. Then they screwed with dev/publisher searches defaulting to "curator" pages that totally kill the filters/sorting that ES provides on top of ruining those tags too. Now it seems "Not Interested" won't even show up on ANY search pages using the ES tag or even highlighting. At best, there's a sort of side-label greying things out when basically turning off every other tag/highlighting option. (Which is a major drag since the biggest function of NI to me comes from wishlist + NI games, so it sucks being one or the other).

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope :-(

So, Enhanced Steam is discontinued. There is now Augmented Steam. Perhaps your requested feature/bugfix is already implemented there! If not, you could move your issue there.
