Multi Game/DLC inventory gift is not marked in store #319

I have the Legendary Edition as a gift, and although ES highlights the contained game and DLC, it doesn't highlight the pack itself.

Enhanced Steam already has code that will check packs to see if you own every game in the pack. For example:

However, in some regions Skyrim Legendary Edition (the pack) contains Skyrim Legendary Edition. Because this causes a cyclical lookup, that particular game may never highlight correctly.

If you look inside the pack, does everything in the pack highlight as owned?

Can you try this with another game and see if you get the same result?

I happen to have a Just Cause 2: DLC Collection gift as well, and the title on that page stays gray instead of turning orangey-brown, but all of the listed DLCs are highlighted.

Okay I'll look into this. Sometimes the gift packages stored in your inventory have a different ID attached to them than what is available in the store, so that could be the case. Either way I'll check it out and let you know what I find.

Most Game+DLC packs don't even have their own store page visible from the search drop down or as a sale item, and even then the page itself has an "Items included in this bundle" section with proper highlighting, so this is quite a minor issue. So thanks for looking into it.

If trading my gift temporarily to you would help, let me know.

So, Enhanced Steam is discontinued. There is now Augmented Steam. Perhaps your requested feature/bugfix is already implemented there! If not, you could move your issue there.
