Oh, forgot to mention, the pause button/indication could be in the place of Enhanced Steam status indicator (green dot / red square; Enhanced Steam loaded / not loaded). Instead of those, pause button would be shown (yellow pause icon) when appropriate. Like so: Pause indicator/button
By clicking the pause button/indication, Enhanced Steam is loaded and the page is shown enhanced. Simply by refreshing, the page is shown without Enhanced Steam again, as the page was on the user's list of the pages not needed Enhanced Steam enhancement.
So, the suggestion: Enhanced Steam is not loaded on particular pages that are on the local user's list, i.e. file with the Steam website addresses user don't want to run Enhanced Steam on, or even the whole link with wild card * notation (e.g. http://store.steampowered.com/app/* ).
Steam website page that is on the user's list is loaded in the browser normally, as if Enhanced Steam is not installed, but by clicking the I I pause button, the page can temporarily be shown with Enhanced Steam loaded. Next time the same page is also loaded as if Enhanced Steam is not installed, if still on the list (i.e. not manually removed by user).
On the settings page add text box where user could add individual link addresses to pages don't want enhanced by Enhanced Steam plugin.
