Add Python 3 support #1

Should add support for Python 3.

Tested on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Rev 1.2 with Python 2.7.16 and Python 3.7.3

@CY8s Thanks so much for the contribution! I hated the fact that this was only compatible with legacy python, and I'm so happy to be on python 3 now!
