The goal of this project is largely to provide a resource for people to discover gaming-related resources and participate in game-based communities that offer inclusivity and welcome diversity in gender-identity and sexuality.
Queercraft is an inclusive gaming community for LGBTQ gamers and their allies.
A Minecraft server at mc.queercraft.net is one piece of it, which is linked to its IRC channel. The website is done through Enjin and it includes web forums. It also has its own radio, with weekly hosted live radio shows (accompanying webcam parties through Zoom), an active Curse server, a TF2 server with scheduled active periods following the weekly radio shows, weekly hosted game nights for games such as Cards Against Humanity, Town of Salem, Scattergories, and Warlight.
There are active channels in the Curse server dedicated to certain games like League of Legends, Starcraft, World of Warships, SMITE, Overwatch, and others. It has a Steam community, and Queercraft frequently announces special events through all various social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc), which keeps the community active and growing. Events on QC are things like themed radio shows, weekly movie nights through rabb.it, contests, and holiday celebrations.
