@bryan-m-hughes I want to set up an IRC room for easier discussion :)

I vote for Slack. I've been using it at Rdio for the last 9 months, and I positively can't stand IRC now :)

I dont mind slack but that is less open, anyone can join #jsig with IRC client of their choice.

If we can have an easy low friction have an open room in slack then sure :)

Slack is not free software and a slack group / team / room is invite only.

Not a good fit for an open / public place for discussion :(

I thought slack had a free option, but that's a good point on the invite only thing. Guess I'll just have to break down and install an IRC client then. Is Colloquy still considered the best client for OS X?

@bryan-m-hughes I personally use https://www.irccloud.com/ and can give you an invite.

I think its free and its a service that stores your IRC history for you and much easy, much win.
