Sound keys don't work

Now it happened again...i was listening music and suddenly they just didn't 
work...

I'm having the same problem. Updated to the latest ROM and half the time the 
volume controls won't work at all, no display comes up, like it doesn't 
recognise the key press. You go out of the music app and you can change the 
ringtone & notifications volume with  no trouble. The only way for me to change 
the volume for music is to go into settings and do it manually. But then, 
sometimes the volume control does work in the music app, very temperamental. 
Any fix for this yet?
