Deep Sleep issues = Battery Drain #11

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Explanation:
My phone doesn't always go into Deep sleep.. instead it sits on 245mhz
(minimum).. which DRAINS the battery so bad.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Phone goes into deep sleep

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Aurora 2.02

Please provide any additional information below.
If I limit the background processes from STANDARD LIMIT to 2 or 4, it helps it
into going into sleep mode more frequently.. and since I updated to 2.02, it
goes into deep sleep more often.. but still happens occasionally.

check your logcat to find which proccess is causing you that because it is not
normal. Might be a widget. I don't have any deep sleep problem. I leave my
phone 7 hours in airplane mode at 100% at i find it at 100%... Withought
airplane mode I find it at about 98-96%

Cheers

The CPU goes into Deep Sleep (actually its called Power Collapse) even when the
display is on. You must have an app that waking the device regularly to do some
processing. Nothing I can do about that.
