What's the use case? preventing the user moving the calendar outside of a given date range? or preventing selection outside of the range?
I would prefer both. I had actually implemented this is the copy I downloaded but in the end had to use ui-bootstrap date picker instead because angular material is not compatible with ie9. I hope to return to using the angular-material-calendar once we move away from support for ie9.

This looks like a great calendar. Is there an option to limit the calendar to a specific min date and max date?
