Pitch

Summary

Due to the long lasting deflation, Japanese economy is heavily cash dependent. Extremely low interest rates harmed bank profitability and some large financial institutions decided to reduce the number of ATM machines to cut cost. Would it affect consumer sentiment and bad habit of holding cash?

this is a really interesting question and who knew you could get data on atms! if you look over time at japan's data you should see how often they inject new cash - make sure you account for that as well, because atm's are not the only thing at play here.
