Spooky. I submitted a patch for the same issue yesterday, but when I tested at home for the issue with the latest version of the code I could not replicate the issue.

What platform are you using chrome on?

The reporter of the issue mentioned, uses 0.3.0-beta.5 on http://www.myhomeworks.com. I changed the event name schema in 0.3.0-rc.1 from event.plugin to plugin:event. So, this patch isn't needed and you should upgrade jCarousel to the latest stable version 0.3.1.
