Responsive connected carousel with fade-in #721

I'm trying to get the connected carousel responsive. The large image needs to fade-in instead of slide. The thumbs need to be responsive, show only one thumb on small viewport.

Is it possible?

Except for the fade effect, yes, it is possible.

really need the fade, I have found and adjusted an other script: http://jsfiddle.net/crgd48nb/

this one works with the fade
