I don't know what version of ePMV I'm using #40

There are two boxes on the ePMV UI saying two different versions. Neither are 
correct. Typically this information is in an about box.

Ludo, is it possible for your code to read one version number... would be even 
better if that version number didn't have to be manually updated by us (same 
for autoPack) in the _init.py files.  You once thought you had a script to 
handle this.

this is done now. and the version is shown in About windows
