One-Wire #14

Does Kriek support the one-wire protocol? If so, can I control 2-way and 3-way valves using one-wire with feedback for valve state?

jsproull commented 8 years ago

Hi David, Yes, kriek supports one wire, but it might require some custom code depending on the valves. If they're simple on/off then that it supported. If they are returning a proportional value, then that would require code changes. Which ones are you looking at? I'm interested in playing with automating the valves in my setup as well.

Three-way horizontal: http://www.china-tonhe.com/?u=2&m=product&id=541

Also three-way vertical:

http://www.china-tonhe.com/?u=2&m=product&id=569

I’ll also use a straight through:

http://www.china-tonhe.com/?u=2&m=product&id=524

Wiring diagram for all is CR502 spring loaded, with 12v power to actuate, no power=default position, and three wires to detect state.

Here’s the control layout:

I am very interesting with this project... i am using for monitoring the mash temp of my RIMS... i want to control several electro valves too...

Please help me with how to connect the ssr pin out, i configured it via the admin page but i do not know how pin to put there...

ebansberg commented 8 years ago

If you guys could share the information somehow, that would be awesome. I think many others are looking at automating valves as well.

Thanks,
