Migrate steps are not working

Installation steps when we are running migrate are not working.

I assumed that's because of south disabled in settings.py, but even after uncommenting it, that still was not working.

Example output looks like: The app 'status' does not appear to use migrations.

I am receiving the same - The app 'status' does not appear to use migrations.

Running Debian Wheezy on BBB. Any updates?
