Difficulty Installing R-Packages #50

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install.packages("RCurl") from AWS
Warning.  Library unspecified and unwritable.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I was trying to install packages from run time with 

Possible but not preferred solutions:
1. I could install packages from R command line through putty
2. I could install packages into the media path folder.
