board does not power when USB and 5V battery applied #30

To reproduce:

  1. Connect both USB cable and ~5V battery power
  2. Turn on the board
  3. Remove the USB cable

The board will power off even though power is applied through the battery and the power switch is on. At that point, if the board is power cycled everything will work fine again.
