The CY7C65213-28PVXI is a USB-UART and is pin compatible with the current FT232R. The FT232R Mac driver is causing the reboots.

The new chip works on Linux and home Mac. Before closing the ticket, add 1uF capacitor and disconnect DNU pin.

Fixed. No more Mac reboots.
