Creation of internally managed playlists not working #2

I have always been using Winamp's internal playlist management to keep track of my playlists. After installing Winamp on my Kubuntu 23.10 machine, I tried to import my audio files as an internal playlist. I do this by right-clicking the Playlists entry in the left-side browser of the Media Library and then selecting Import playlist from folder. After selecting the folder. nothing happens though.

So I then imported the folder into the active playlist right away and instead selected Import active (current) playlist instead, which caused Winamp to instantly crash and close itself. On retrying the same procedure, Winamp as well as WINE in total froze, having me to force close Winamp. Finally I created an external m3u8 playlist file and tried to import that via Import from playlist file, just for Winamp to crash again.

For now I'm fine with selecting the playlist externally, but I'd be glad if you could fix this issue anytime soon. Thank you for your effort!

I'm sorry, can you give me a few more details on how to reproduce? I created a new playlist in Winamp and added files there and it works.
