Did you have any luck with this? I’m facing the same issue
Hey yes so once you have it working, you can check using the assecorys in homebridge. Then go to the plug-in and plug-in in options then bridge the plug-in and a we code will pop up and then scan that in HomeKit and the device will pop up

Hello - I tried this but was unable to see how to switch which effect is being used. I also couldn't find the code to scan on the phone to get the plugin to show. My other devices are appearing on my phone with no issues.
You have to add the device manually in the HomeKit App, for that go into the HomeKit App and hit the plus button at the top right > Add Device > Hit the button at the bottom, where it says you do not have a code or cannot scan it. Here the device should appear and you can use your Homebridge PIN (the pin which is displayed under the QR-Code) to pair this device. I hope this answer solves your problem
The device is shown under "Accessory's" in home-bridge where I can control the brightness and effects, however it is not showing in the HomeKit app
