I am seeing the same thing. I just added another WLED light and I am unable to use this plugin to control it.
Afternoon.
I have loaded all to HomeBridge plug-in and when I try to add to HomeKit nothing comes up. Any suggestion what I am doing wrong as I really would like Wled to be working in HomeKit with HomeBridge
I might be onto something, but I recognize this the other day and it solves that issue I was having. First off, I have each of the WLED lights. I am using as separate bridges. But I also when I went into the configuration, I change platform from WLED to match the name of the light that I said below and when I went to HomeKit and hit plus all the sudden, I had a whole bunch of WLED‘s that I could see.
it’s the only thing I can think of because when I bought my house, there were a couple WLED’s that I first configured the first time I set up the Homebridge but in the last couple months, I’ve added some projects that are my own, but I can never control them in HK so I had to switch to a different plug-in with WLED that I hated and I’m so happy to have this one working again so try that one.
I'm having the same issue; I can no longer add new WLEDs to HomeKit. @bor9455, I'm not following your solution. Could you post a sample of your config?
I'm not sure what/if something changed or if caching needed to clear on the HomeKit side, but the latest accessory I was trying to add finally showed up in Home.
I'm also having difficulties. I have 4 devices to add. 3 worked fine, the fourth just won't work. I've tried renaming. I've reserved different IP addresses. Changed name. Not sure what else to try.
I'm facing the same issue, I cannot add the WLED devices to my Home. In Homebridge UI I can control the devices. I have no firewall installed at my raspberry and I did all availabe updates. Have anyone an idea what to do???
Maybe try using DHCP reservation in your router and move them to a different IP address, redefine that address in the WLED plugin configuration and then make sure to delete the cache in Homebridge (I’m using Hoobs but I assume there’s a similar option in Homebridge?)
