[Opera] TB logs tabs, but doesn't close them anymore

Opera Version:60.0.3255.170 OS: Tested on:

• Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G22010)
• Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5 (18F132) TB installed on Opera using the Install Chrome Extensions extension

Symptom: When clicking the icon, the Bankruptcies tab opens and reflects a new batch of all my open tabs, but the tabs themselves stay open and need to be closed manually.

Note: I've been using TB on Opera on another computer for years without issue, so it shouldn't be inherently incompatible with Opera.

Thanks for flagging, @dgpokl As I'm sure you've noticed, the TB code hasn't changed in three years... so... strange! If you inspect the extension, do you see any errors in the console?

Thanks for the pointer. Didn't know how to inspect the extension yet so I'll check that out. It must be an extension conflict, and this will probably turn it up.

Something must have changed in Opera that broke this, because it's still the same even after disabling all other extensions. In addition, I can't reveal anything useful by inspecting the popup because the inspector window dies immediately as soon as the little pop-up closes, which is immediately when you click the button (or indeed when you even click anywhere on the inspector). So I can't see whether there is anything showing up on the console at the point where it is attempting to close the tabs.

I appreciate your response, and if anyone figures out what's going on with this, I hope it will be posted here.

Closing due to inactivity and the fact that I no longer use Opera, so perhaps the people who care number == 0 now 😆
