Twitter API v1.1 #1

Is there any plans to update it for the v1.1 API?

Hi Simon; good question! Because v1.0 does not require authentication for the search API, while v1.1 does, I don't plan on fully switching over until absolutely necessary. On the other hand, I'd consider adding (optional) support for v1.1 in addition to v1.0.
