NoSquint is a Firefox add-on that allows you to adjust the text-only and full-page zoom levels as well as color settings both globally (for all sites) and per site.

Colour picking not working #26

Open Hexe-at-git opened 12 years ago

Colour picking is not working at all for neither fore or background colours. In the Firefox colour picker, the 'let websites choose their own fonts and colors' is turned off and so is the 'use system colors' option, but the colors defined in this dialog are used instead of NoSquint's selection.

I upgraded from Firefox 9 to 10, (it was not working in 9) and even after turning off all my other extensions, the problem persists.

Is there maybe a setting I've overlooked?

Thanks,

Some questions:

  1. What version of NoSquint are you using?
  2. Does Firefox continue to apply those colors even if NoSquint is disabled?
  3. Have you defined global colours (in NoSquint's global settings) or are you using per-site colours?

Thanks.

Yes, it does, they are the settings I chose in the firefox color dialog, I defined different link colours for NoSquint, which are not showing up.

I do both -- global settings and for some sites, I have special selections.

I've also just tried amending the color selection (text, background, visited and unvisited links) in the site specific dialog and and my choices are ignored.

I recently allowed the upgrade manager to update my OS( 2.6.32-38-generic #83-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 4 11:13:04 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux), could that be the problem?
