Are you using a custom background color?
Some sites break when a background color is defined, as a consequence of how that site is designed. Often they'll put invisible containers over top images to manage some kind of functionality (custom zooming, as in the case of JCPenneys, or save-as blocking, etc.). NoSquint can't really know that this container is supposed to be invisible, so it colors it according to the user's background preferences.
The next release of NoSquint will allow you to override global color settings per-site for such cases. Unfortunately that doesn't help you right now. For the moment, with the current version, my only suggestion is to avoid using global background colors and apply them per-site for the sites you really need it on.
That work! You're a life saver. You have no idea how much this addon has saved my old eyes. Thank you so much.
I was thrilled to find this addon because I struggle with my eyesight but not being able to see photos and pictures hinders my ability to shop online which is necessary.
I hope someone has Facebook access to try this because it's rather difficult to describe to a non-user. Clicking on a photo (from a Facebook album) in the news feed and the photo is blank. I see the comments and just a blank space where there should be a picture. I can right-click on the blank space and opt for 'view image' and see it then in new tab.
I have the same type of problem with several retail sites for instance: JCPenneys - I can get a quick glimpse of the image and then it's gone-http://j.mp/WicpLk Woot - I move the cursor over a framed picture and it goes blank. - http://j.mp/AjKtYV
I don't have any addons that affect sizing of text or photos. Running latest FF on Win 7.
If there is a quick setting change, I didn't figure it out. Any help would be wonderful.
