NoSquint Bug #58

NoSquint was working fine until last night where there was an update(?)

When I would click the box where it said 'Background' in the 'Text & Background' it would gray every new site I was on when prior to that it I was able to set it to a specify certain sites.

Also, all the text zoom in reset and when I do want to zoom in, it distorts unlike it used to before.

If there is a way to fix this, it would be very appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to report this.

A few questions:

  1. What version of Firefox are you using? (In the Help menu, About Firefox)
  2. What operating system are you using?
  3. Can you describe step-by-step how you are changing the background color? (What are you clicking/selecting to get to the color options -- what is the title of the dialog box that contains the color options?)
  4. Can you take a screenshot of the zoom distortion and attach it to this issue?
  5. Because you are talking about text zoom, can you confirm your primary zoom method is "Text Zoom (text only)" rather than the default of "Full Zoom (images and text)"?
  6. If you disable NoSquint (Tools | Addons | Extensions tab | NoSquint | Disable), do you see any similar distortion if you zoom in with Firefox's standard/native zoom capability? (You can use ctrl-plus and ctrl-minus to zoom with NoSquint disabled [this works when it's enabled too].)

Suffice it to say, I'm not able to reproduce your problem with Firefox 19 on either Linux or Windows, and no one has reported a similar problem yet. Hopefully the answers to the above will help narrow down on the problem.

Firefox 19.0

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1

I go to gray out a specific sites background but every new url site gets grayed out instead of just the specific one.

I zoom in using the NoSquint which had certain sites formatted for different font sizes but now it just replicates it for any site I go into.

It acts the same as when NoSquint is enabled.
