No longer showing current zoom levels on the status bar (lower right). #59

Was working fine. Now no longer see the current zoom levels on the lower right of computer.

Tried Disabling, closing Firefox, reopening, Enabling, closing FFox and reopening.

Tried unchecking Options/Zooming to show current zoom levels, then rechecking.

Nothing works.

I guess next is uninstall/reinstall?

Just uninstalled/reinstalled.

Still no longer see current zoom levels on lower right of computer (nor anywhere else).

It still does change the zoom levels to my default setting.

But the only way I can make an adjustment now is to go to Firefox Tools/Add-ons/No Squint/Options/Zooming.

Please help - loved your app and need it, but I need to still see the current zoom level on the lower right and not have to go thru all of that.

I went to Firefox View/Toolbars/Customize. When in this mode, I see a faint image - like a ghost image - of the NoSquint zoom levels on the far right of my task bar (I assume this is what you are calling the status bar).

If I hover the cursor over it, it shows me a solid image above it of the current zoom levels. If I click on it, it give me the zoom adjustment window on the upper left of the screen.

But as soon as I close the Firefox "Customize Toolbar" window, I lose the ghost image and again no way to see current zoom levels on my screen (i.e., in the browser window).

Found this in the No Squint reviews - same problem -

I see that this was never responded to.

Googling this problem, I also see a number of others have experienced it - most of them are recent.

Hoping you can cure this (and quickly).

After all this, looks like I solved it.

I had to go to Firefox View/Toolbars/click on "Add-on Bar" - I had forgotten but had I think accidentally closed the bar on the bottom of the window, which has AdBlock on the left of the bar, and No Squint on the right. Hopefully this solves it, and hopefully can help someone else who encounters this.

Yeah, this is a pretty common issue. I'm not sure if there's much I can do to address it (at least in a way that's not obnoxious) until I implement #4 and users can move the nosquint icon to the toolbar.
