New York Times, Amazon, Landsend and Google Books #87

Images do not load on these sites at all or do so intermittently. Also on these sites (except NYTimes) text in some text boxes (e.g. search box ) is not visible. With Nosquint turned off, these issues do not occur. I have to constantly turn Nosquint off and back on, as a result. I use Google Books and Amazon's Look Inside feature a lot, and the text in the book page does not show. See image below:

Do you set a global background color?

Yes: white (and black for fonts). Ham
