[Feature Requests] Various QOL design suggestions #169

For your consideration: while testing the 0.5 pre-release I noted a handful of possible QOL improvements that could be made...

  1. The ability to batch-assign Reaticulate.jsfx to multiple tracks with certain bank(s) selected. At the moment, if I copy Reaticulate.jsfx (via ctrl-drag), most of the time it will copy to the new track without the bank selection carrying over. If the selection did carry over, or - better yet - there were a way to select a group of tracks and assign Reaticulate.jsfx with a bank already selected, this would help project and/or template set-up go much quicker.
  2. Get rid of the dialog box that verifies articulation clearing when pressing "Clear active articulations in UI"? Is the extra click extraneous?
  3. Don't immediately clear the filter after pressing shift-enter or insert. Reasoning: if I want to find a specific articulation in a big list, perhaps I want to pull it up so I can quickly insert it in multiple places in the track. Alternative: have the GUI center on that articulation? (The one that was just inserted via the filter)
  4. Ctrl-mousewheel zooming only seems to work consistently if the Reaticulate window is selected. Is there any way to make it work if the mouse is over the window instead? (This might be a "my system" thing...)
  5. When Reaticulate.jsfx is first added to a track, how about having it jump right to the bank selection screen instead of having to click on "Open Track Settings"? I think it would streamline things.
