It is like that, unless you can throw more cores to the problem or increase your RAM memory. I see that SqueezeMeta detected only 11.22 Gb of RAM being free. You say you have 32. Were you running other processes together with SqueezeMeta? That may also be a reason.
Also, may I ask which CentOS version are you using?

I started the SqueezeMeta with the pipeline is slow at STEP No 4. It took almost one day to run two samples. Kindly tell what should I do to increase the process speed and complete the assembly and annotation. Pls help me. My specification is 32 GB Ram and 8 cores in centos linux.
