XBMC crashes when trying to add ABC, NBC, Hulu, or other sources

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. 4.3 firmware
2. Newest XBMC nightly build
3. Bluecop repo added

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
XBMC crashes and goes back to atv2 menus

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.3 atv firm with newest xbmc

Please provide any additional information below.

I added the repo with no issues.  The list shows cartoon network, hulu, ect...  
 but when I try to install it just crashes.

I'm getting the same on Linux but only from 2 addons:

Hulu from Bluecop
MLMBC from main

I suspect it's because the fanart.jpg they reference is in fact a PNG file. 
I've created an XBMC ticket as well at as it should probably handle the 
condition better.

I've just updated from 09/27 to 10/06 and the issue appears to have been fixed.
