I was going through the resource reading up on publishing github books (still useful!) and I found a link that should open in a new tab. Not sure if this is still the approved formatting, but I'll leave this PR here for you guys anyway.
Speaking of which, a student made a linkchecker, which might prove useful. Will take some reading to understand the code though. It is in a folder called "linkchecker" in the top directory.
