Cannot export to JSON #1

Hi. I don't know if you can help. I have followed the install instuctions. I am using a local version of Twine running in the browser - 2.4.0-beta2. I am able to install this story format, but when I go to my story and click on play, I just get the default html rendering rather than a JSON file. I'd appreciate any pointers on what I may be doing wrong. Many thanks.

Hi! I'm no longer actively developing this project, but I can try and help. Two questions:

  1. Did you select the Harlowe to JSON story format before clicking play? You still have to tell your story to use the new format after installing it.
  2. Does it work for you in the non-local browser app at twinery.org?
