There's probably better ways to skin this cat, but this seems to work for me. The HASS slider for temperature doesn't update itself (like the brightness slider does), but I am not sure if that is how it normally functions.
I'm sure this could have been done without all of these changes.
I do get a slight variance of 1-2 between the 'sub_worker' temp and the 'pub_worker' temp, e.g. 427 (sub) = 429 (pub), 337 = 338, etc., so this is definitely not perfect, but it works.
