Gene found in 'Gene Set Annotation' tab but not in 'Network Catalog' tab #21

Hi Juan,

This issue might be more kind of a question than an issue, but I was wondering what could be the main reason for this:

In the 'Gene Set Annotation' tab, when I type the gene "VPS16" in the 'nabec' category, I receive that gene clustered within the module skyblue3 and enriched by 3 different GO terms. However, when I click on the skyblue3 link to obtain the precise information of that module, that gene is not found in any of the 3 enriched GO terms retrieved before:

Additionally, in the tab 'Network Catalog', if I apply a general search for the 'nabec' category, that gene 'VPS16' is also not found: image

What might be the main reason why the same gene is only found in the 'Gene Set Annotation' tab but not in the 'Network Catalog' tab?

Sonia
