I'm thinking the reason you don't want to set Home as where the antenna is, is
that you are using the APM for fully autonomous take off and landing?
If not then I would suggest just using the Home location as the Antenna
location and make sure your Home Location altitudes are set correctly, that way
an RTL should not land but will loiter when it arrives, then you go to manual
control to land.
If you want full autonomy take off to landing...indeed it would need some
re-writing, but also to the APM1 Ardutracker code perhaps in order to
accomodate for offsets. (assuming you have an APM1 with Ardutracker code for
the actual tracking...)

I am aiming for full autonomy. I am only using APM PLanner, no ardutracker
involved. I think Michael would only need to add a couple of lines of code to
his APM planner and then all would be well.
This is a feature I really REALLY need....
