I have been using RED5 for a while and now I am using it with Xuggler. For
live events, we need to use Flash Media Encoder on a Laptop where some
guest stars chat live with fans (I work in a media group).

First Question - Is it in Xuggle's plans to be compliant with FME?
If not, we'll my bad :-P...
If yes here is the problem:

a) in the publisher I see:
12:49:55:147 - Asynchronous code error - ReferenceError: Error #1069
b) in the logs I see;
[ERROR] [Transcoder[RC3]] org.ffmpeg - [flv @ 0x4c7e760] Error, Invalid
timestam
p=368, last=368
[ERROR] [Transcoder[RC3]] com.xuggle.red5.Transcoder - could not encode
video pi
cture; continuing anyway
[ERROR] [Transcoder[RC3]] org.ffmpeg - [flv @ 0x4c7e760] Error, Invalid
timestam
p=518, last=518
[ERROR] [Transcoder[RC3]] com.xuggle.red5.Transcoder - could not encode
video pi
cture; continuing anyway
[ERROR] [Transcoder[RC3]] org.ffmpeg - [flv @ 0x4c7e760] Error, Invalid
timestam
p=740, last=740
[ERROR] [Transcoder[RC3]] com.xuggle.red5.Transcoder - could not encode
video pi
cture; continuing anyway

---------------------//-----------------------------------------

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect FME to rtmp://myRED5/videotranscoder (any stream name)
   Using FME2.5 [video: VP6 audio:NellyMoser]
2. Start Encoding in FME
3. use Red5's Publisher demo

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-notice the drops in picture (like 3 fps) and audio complete non-synch...

What operating system and JVM version are you using.
windows XP & jre6 // Xuggle 2.0 & Red5 0.8rc3 build 100

Attach relevant log/output files.
-done!

PS - I suspect (suspect) this might be a problem in RED5's core
funcionality. First I thought it could be the player side actionscript but
I have developed my own flash player where I handled all the non-synch
errors actionscript pumped out and...no luck...

btw I am totally avaiable to make you guys a nice interface for the demo!
I am more a designer than a programmer but...

Hi there,

We don't test for compliance with FME but will look into why this is happening.
 I
suspect it's related to #104.

This is almost definitely a duplicate of 104.
