OutOfHeapMemory error could core dump JVM #117

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the MultiThreaded exhaustive tests on a small JVM
2. When we fail to allocate memory for a IVideoPicture, we accidentally eat
  an exception and de-ref a null pointer.
3. The C++ goblins get mad.
